PORT-X200 portable energy dispersive X fluorescent spectrometer is a portable analyzer specially designed for production site and field environment, which is featured with small size, light weight, easy operation and super long standby, etc. It's widely applied in such fields as alloy steel, geological surveying, mining and metallurgy, metal recycling, and precious metal testing, and can also be applied in quantitative analysis of all elements from Magnesium (Mg) to Uranium (U).

Details of Features Technology

X-Ray Tube

The excitation source of this instrument adopts US-produced end-window miniature X-ray tube. X-ray tube is an integrated miniature X-ray source specially designed for portable X fluorescent spectrometer, which is featured with small size, light weight, safety and reliability, and easy control.

Detector

This instrument adopts high-performance SDD detector assembly which has been selected by the America Mars Lander. The detector uses Peltier device for refrigeration. Considering the need of outdoor analysis, the whole probe adopts the design of “pistol” packaging, which is more secure and reliable.

PDA

The computer adopts high-end smart terminals produced by the world’s top mobile phone manufacturer. It has a 4.3 inch large touch screen with a resolution of 960×540, and built-in GPS navigation chip, as well as Android2.3 operating system. It can communicate with the instrument via Bluetooth transmission technology.

Body Design

This instrument has large angle of adjustable observation range which fit for human hand type and habits, and not easy to produce visual fatigue. The airtight, dustproof, waterproof and shockproof design for outdoor use can reduce the influence of external environment on test results.

Software Functions

This instrument designs six analysis modules for different sample analysis characteristics, namely, alloy analysis, soil analysis, mineral exploration, heavy metal detection, RoHS standard testing, and rare earth sample measurement. It almost covers all areas that the portable X fluorescent spectrometer can analyze.

Analysis Speed

This instrument optimizes X fluorescence data processing method according to the rapid detection characteristics of the portable instrument, which greatly shortens the measurement time. Accurate quantitative analysis results are available in 10-60 seconds.
